HARPO's Crime Blog has new postings

HARPO, the neighborhood group that's dedicated to improving safety and quality of life around HarriOak, has finally gotten its crime blog up and running. This was a major undertaking because the info is so hard to get from the police department. Posts include details about a robbery on Garland, a bullet through a window on Oakland Avene and a stabbing on Fairmount. The blog is restricted to members of HARPO (which stands for HarriOak Alliance of Residents and Property Owners) but anyone who lives in the area or owns property in the area is welcome to join. Just send an e-mail with your name, contact info, and details about your relationship to the neighborhood to harrioak at yahoo dot com. This is a volunteer group, so it may take a while for someone to get back to you. Please be patient. Also, please provide full details about who you are. Your info will not be shared.
