"Our dispatch center is experiencing problems with the non-emergency line
(777-3333). The answering message citizens hear when the call is not
immediately answered is not working. The line will either keep ringing,
or there will be dead air.
"The call is still going through and it will be answered as soon as
possible. Please do not call 9-1-1 or the seven-digit emergency number
(777-3211) for non-emergency calls.
"The problem is expected to continue until tomorrow morning when the
system will be repaired."
