A message from Pastor Jha:
Hello, neighbors! This past week we have seen the tragedy in Myanmar.
First Christian Church of Oakland would like to invite the
neighborhood to come together for fellowship, some live entertainment,
and a fundraiser to benefit the victims of the cyclone. Proceeds will
go to UNICEF, since they are having greater success than other
nonprofits at actually getting in and getting aid to people with an
uncooperative government. Details:
When: This Saturday, May 17, 2-5 PM
Where: First Christian Church Fellowship Hall (29th and Fairmount)
What: Fundraiser for the victims of the Myanmar cyclone
